They believe in two divinities :
– the human-like Goddess Luna
– the shape-shifting God Sol, that wears many appearances.
Imani likes to tell this story to anyone who wants to hear it.
When the fair Goddess Luna created the lands with her night song, the shape-shifting God Sol fell in love with her. Seduced by her cristalline voice, he spent seven days trying to win her heart, each day wearing a different form.
The first day, he came as a feline. She pat his head, but stayed indifferent.
The second day, he showed himself as a canine. She was amused by his wagging tail, but nothing more.
The third day, he approached her as a reptile. She appreciated the contact of his cool skin, but didn’t thought more of it.
The fourth day, he flew to her as a bird. They sang together.
The fifth day, he wore the skin of a deer. She awed at his antlers.
The sixth day, he showed her an aquatic form. She was impressed with his colors.
The seventh and last day, he came as an insect, and proposed to her.
But she explained to him that he did not need to change for her, he should have came as his true form.
Believers do not eat meat and do not exploit animals either, as they think of them as their siblings from another mother.
